Our Retired Goldens

After being the best Mama dog we could have ever asked for, Elly will spend her retirement years here with us at Ebenezer Goldens. She will always hold a special place in Jonathan’s heart and remains one of the most incredible dogs we’ve ever known. Now nearly 12 years old, Elly still has the spirit of a puppy and continues to amaze us with her intelligence, health, and loving personality. Her sweet, almost human-like nature is one of the many reasons we chose to continue her legacy by keeping June and Rose from her final litter. We are so excited to carry on her wonderful line and share the qualities we love so much about her with future generations.

I miss my big, sweet boy Buck. At nearly 100 pounds, he was my gentle giant—a fluffy teddy bear with the sweetest personality. Buck now lives happily with his new mom in Fort Worth, where he gets to enjoy plenty of beach adventures and a wonderful life full of love.

Rainbow has brought so much happiness to families through her sweet, gentle puppies. She is truly one of the kindest souls we have ever known.

Rainbow now lives in West Texas with a wonderful family who also has one of our Natalie puppies. They understand and adore all of her little quirks, making sure she always has a stuffie to wag her tail about and, most importantly, feels loved and cherished.

Seeing Rainbow’s confidence and personality continue to blossom in her forever home has been one of the sweetest gifts. We are so grateful she is surrounded by a family who loves her exactly as she is.

Nellie is the mama of Rainbow and Raspberry and truly one of the best girls we’ve ever known. She was never a fan of being in a kennel, but she didn’t need one—she was such a well-mannered and loving girl.

After raising several wonderful litters in Vermont, Nellie made her way to Texas. We retired her shortly after, and she now enjoys her days in Dallas with her loving family, where she is cherished just as she deserves.

When Maple was ready to retire, I knew exactly where I wanted her to go. My dear friend Skyler and I grew up together, and I’ve always known her to have the biggest, sweetest heart. I knew Maple would be deeply loved and truly cared for in her home.

Maple now lives happily with Skyler and her wonderful family in Maryland, where she is enjoying a well-deserved retirement surrounded by love.

Raspberry has the cutest personality! She absolutely loves people, and her favorite place to be is curled up right beside you. She is the perfect combination of sweet, smart, and affectionate.

Raspberry is Rainbow’s sister, and they share many of the same wonderful qualities. She shows her happiness by carrying a stuffed animal in her mouth while whining, wiggling her butt, and wagging her tail all at once—and the sweetest part is that many of her puppies have inherited the same adorable habit!

Raspberry now lives in Ohio with her loving family and her golden brother Milo, who she loves to follow and learn from. She has plenty of stuffies to carry around and is thriving in her forever home.
