'We added a golden retriever puppy to our family in May of 2022. Her name is Tory, and she was a surprise for our 13 year old son, and Tory has been by his side from day 1. 'My husband grew up with a golden retriever, so of course he wanted one when we were finally settled down. I found Jonathan and Meg's page on Facebook after researching (and stalking) many pages- it was such answered prayer. Meg not only cares about her dogs, but she cares about YOU. My husband had caught covid so we couldn't keep Winnie yet - she kept Winnie extra days for us, then my yorkie of 13 years passed away 4 days before us getting Winnie - Meg handled the situation with such care and empathy. 'I’m honestly not sure where to start and I could rave about Meg and Ebenezer Goldens for hours! Our journey started with my daughter’s lifelong desire to have a Golden. As I did my research, not only did I find the perfect breeder, but I also found my passion - Therapy Dog handling paired with a Golden Retriever! Our family ended up with Crystal+Maverick siblings - a male roommate for my college aged daughter and a female companion for me who has now passed her CGC test and is a therapy dog through Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Meg took extra time to test puppies for me to find the absolute perfect match for this task. Honestly, the temperament and personality of my daughter’s male would have made him a great candidate for therapy work as well.
