Health Testing
Our adult Golden Retrievers are thoughtfully chosen from exceptional bloodlines with a focus on health, temperament, and breed excellence. Each dog completes genetic health testing for breed-specific conditions to ensure we are making responsible breeding decisions and raising healthy puppies.
Early Manners
Before going home, we begin training our puppies to sit patiently for treats. These early lessons help encourage patience, self-control, and the habit of offering calm, polite behavior when seeking attention, affection, or rewards.
AKC Registration
Your puppy comes with AKC Registration and a 3-generation pedigree, showing the carefully selected golden retrievers that came before them. Once you've decided on a name, you'll complete the registration with the AKC and receive your puppy's official registration certificate.
Full AKC Registration may be available to approved breeding homes for an additional fee.
Potty Training
Our puppies are introduced to potty training at 5 weeks old by learning to use their doggie door and going outside to go potty. This helps them develop good habits before joining their new families and provides a strong foundation for continued potty training at home.
vet visit
Each of our puppies receives a thorough veterinary examination before going home. Our veterinarian evaluates each puppy’s overall health, including their heart, lungs, eyes, ears, mouth, skin, coat, and more, along with a fecal screening for parasites. Families will receive a signed copy of their puppy’s health assessment for their records.
Health Guarantee
Our Health Guarantee covers your puppy through two years of age for qualifying genetic or congenital conditions. We are committed to standing behind the care, health testing, and responsible breeding practices that we put into every litter. Please contact us for a copy of our contract.
ENS Training
Our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) during their first two weeks of life. This gentle developmental practice, inspired by programs used by military and service dog organizations, helps introduce puppies to new experiences and supports confidence, adaptability, and resilience.
Vaccinations
At 7 weeks of age, our puppies receive their first Nobivac 1-DAPPV vaccination, which protects against canine distemper, adenovirus (hepatitis), parainfluenza, and parvovirus.
You will receive a personalized health record that includes their vaccination and deworming history and a recommended schedule for future vaccinations to share with your veterinarian.
Socialization
By 8 weeks old, the puppies have already been introduced to many everyday experiences that help build confidence and adaptability. Our puppies are exposed to children, vaccinated dogs, car rides, grooming, outdoor adventures, and a daily playlist of fireworks, vacuums, blow dryers, babies crying, cats meowing, sirens, busy airports, doorbells, thunderstorms, trains, horses, airplanes, etc.
Puppy Food
Your puppy will go home with a small bag of the food they have been eating, allowing for a smooth and gradual transition to their new diet. We recommend and feed our puppies Loyall Life Large Breed Puppy Chicken+Rice to support healthy growth and joint development.
Pedicures
We begin trimming our puppies’ nails every two weeks from an early age, helping them become comfortable with having their paws handled and their nails maintained. This early routine makes future grooming experiences easier.
Baby Blanket
Each puppy goes home with their own cozy blanket to bring a familiar piece of comfort to their new family. The blanket carries the scent of Mama and their littermates, helping provide reassurance and making those first few nights away from home a little easier.
